(ਅਉਖੀਵਨ) ਕ੍ਰਿ. ਅਸੁਖੀ ਹੋਣਾ. ਦੁਖੀ ਹੋਣਾ. ਕਠਿਨਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਣਾ। 2. ਅਪ-ਕ੍ਸ਼ੀਵਨ. ਨਸ਼ੇ ਦੀ ਤੋੜ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਣਾ. ਅਮਲ ਦੇ ਉਤਰਾਉ ਦੀ ਦਸ਼ਾ ਹੋਣੀ. “ਮਾਤਿਆ ਹਰਿਰਸ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਤੇ, ਤਿਸ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਕਬਹੂ ਅਉਖੀਵਨਾ.” (ਮਾਰੂ ਅ: ਮਃ ੫). Footnotes:
