(ਅਹੰਮੇਉ, ਅਹੰਮੇਵ) ਸੰ. ਅਹੰਮਤਿ. ਨਾਮ/n. ਖ਼ੁਦੀ. ਹੌਮੈ. ਅਹੰਕਾਰ। 2. ਮੈਂ ਹੀ ਹਾਂ. ਭਾਵ- ਮੇਥੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਹੋਰ ਕੋਈ ਨਹੀਂ “ਜੋ ਜੋ ਕਰਤੇ ਅਹੰਮੇਉ.” (ਮਃ ੪ ਵਾਰ ਗਉ ੧) “ਮਨ ਮਤਾ ਅਹੰਮੇਇ.” (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਮਃ ੫, ਪਹਰੇ) “ਕਰਮ ਕਰਤ ਬਧੇ ਅਹੰਮੇਵ.” (ਗਉ ਕਬੀਰ). Footnotes:
