(ਉਤਭਿਜ) ਨਾਮ/n. ਦਸਮਗ੍ਰੰਥ ਵਿਚ, ਇੱਕ ਗਣਛੰਦ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ “ਉਤਭੁਜ” “ਅਰਧਭੁਜੰਗ” “ਸੋਮਰਾਜੀ” ਅਤੇ “ਸ਼ੰਖਨਾਰੀ” ਭੀ ਆਖਦੇ ਹਨ. ਇਸਦਾ ਲੱਛਣ ਹੈ- ਚਾਰ ਚਰਣ. ਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਚਰਣ- ਦੋ ਯਗਣ ।ऽऽ, ।ऽऽ. ਉਦਾਹਰਣ-
ਹਹਾਸੰ ਕਪਾਲੰ। ਸੁਭਾਸੰ ਛਿਤਾਲੰ।
ਪ੍ਰਭਾਸੰ ਜੁਆਲੰ। ਅਨਾਸੰ ਕਰਾਲੰ. (ਕਲਕੀ)
2. ਸੰ. उद्भिज्ज.- ਉਦਭਿੱਜ. ਨਾਮ/n. ਜ਼ਮੀਨ ਨੂੰ ਪਾੜਕੇ ਜਿਸ ਦਾ ਅੰਕੁਰ (ਅੰਗੂਰ) ਨਿਕਲੇ, ਐਸੀ ਵਨਸਪਤਿ. ਬੇਲ ਬੂਟੇ ਖੇਤੀ ਆਦਿਕ. “ਜਲ ਬਿਨ ਉਤਭੁਜ ਕਾਮ ਨਹੀਂ.” (ਆਸਾ ਮਃ ੧) “ਅੰਡਜ ਜੇਰਜ ਸੇਤਜ ਕੀਨੀ। ਉਤਭੁਜ ਖਾਨਿ ਬਹੁਰ ਰਚਦੀਨੀ.” (ਚੌਪਈ) 3. ਸੰ. उद्-भुज- ਉਦ-ਭੁਜ. ਜਿਸਨੇ ਬਾਂਹ ਫੈਲਾਈ ਹੈ. ਦਸ੍ਤਗੀਰ. ਬਾਂਹ ਫੜਨ ਵਾਲਾ. “ਉਤਭੁਜ ਚਲਤੁ ਆਪ ਕਰਿ ਚੀਨੈ, ਆਪੇ ਤਤੁ ਪਛਾਨੈ.” (ਰਾਮ ਮਃ ੧) “ਉਜਭੁਜ ਸਰੂਪ ਅਬਿਗਤ ਅਭੰਗ.” (ਗ੍ਯਾਨ).
