Kiᴺnar. ਦੇਵਤਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਇਕ ਜਾਤ, ਇਸ ਜਾਤ ਦੇ ਦੇਵਤੇ ਕੁਬੇਰ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿਚ ਨਾਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਇੰਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਧੜ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਘੋੜੇ ਦਾ ਦਸੀਦਾ ਹੈ। one of the types of angles that have a body of human beings but face of a horse and they dance in the presence of Kuber.

ਸੰ. किन्नर. ਨਾਮ/n. ਨਿੰਦਿਤ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਦਾ ਨਰ, ਜਿਸਦਾ ਧੜ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਮੂੰਹ ਘੋੜੇ ਦਾ. ਇਹ ਪੁਲਸ੍ਤ੍ਯ ਰਿਖੀ ਦੀ ਉਲਾਦ ਹਨ. ਕੁਬੇਰ ਦੀ ਸਭਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਜਦ ਗੰਧਰਵ ਗਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ ਤਦ ਕਿੰਨਰ ਨਾਚ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ. ਇਹ ਸ੍ਵਰਗਲੋਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਭੀ ਨ੍ਰਿਤ੍ਯ ਕੀਤਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ. ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਾਉਂ ਕਿੰਪੁਰੁਸ਼ ਭੀ ਹੈ. “ਕਿੰਨਰ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਗਾਨ ਕਰੈਂ ਗਨ.” (ਚੰਡੀ ੧). Footnotes:
