Gurmaṫ⒤. 1. ਗੁਰੂ ਦਾ ਉਪਦੇਸ/ਸਿਖਿਆ (ਗੁਰਵਿਚਾਰ, ਗੁਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ)। 2. ਗੁਰੂ ਆਸ਼ੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ, ਗੁਰ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ। 3. ਗੁਰ-ਉਪਦੇਸ਼/ਸਿਖਿਆ ਦੁਆਰਾ/ਰਾਹੀਂ। 4. ਸਮਝ, ਅਕਲ, ਬੁੱਧੀ, ਵਿਚਾਰ।
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਸਾਚੀ ਕਾਰੈ ਸਚੁ ਮਿਲੈ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪਲੈ ਪਾਇ ॥ (ਗੁਰੂ ਦੀ ਸਿਖਿਆ). Raga Sireeraag 1, 14, 4:1 (P: 19).
2. ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਸਖਾਈ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਿ ਹਮਰੀ ਰਹਰਾਸਿ ॥ Raga Goojree 4, Sodar, 4, 1:2 (P: 10).
3. ਹਰਿ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਨਿਰਭਉ ਦਾਤਾ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਸਹਿਜ ਸਮਾਵਣਿਆ ॥ Raga Maajh 3, Asatpadee 28, 1:2 (P: 126).
ਉਦਾਹਰਨ:
ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਪਾਏ ਪਰਮਾਨੰਦਾ ॥ Raga Gaurhee 1, 12, 3:4 (P: 154).
4. ਭਗਤਿ ਵਛਲੁ ਜਗਜੀਵਨੁ ਦਾਤਾ ਮਤਿ ਗੁਰਮਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰੇ ॥ (ਆਪਣੀ ਮਤਿ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰਮਤ ਦੇ ਅਧੀਨ ਕੀਤਿਆਂ). Raga Aaasaa 1, 16, 3:2 (P: 353).
