Tiᴺd. ਮਿਟੀ ਦੇ ਗੜਵੇ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਦਾ ਮਿਟੀ ਜਾਂ ਧਾਤ ਦਾ ਬਰਤਨ ਜੋ ਹਰਟ ਦੀ ਮਾਹਲ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਕਢਣ ਲਈ ਬੰਨਦੇ ਹਨ। earthen or metal pot used with persian wheel to bring up water.

ਨਾਮ/n. ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਭਾਂਡਾ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਗਡਵੇ ਜੇਹੀ ਸ਼ਕਲ ਹੁੰਦੀ ਹੈ. ਇਸ ਨੂੰ ਹਰਟ ਦੀ ਮਾਲ ਨਾਲ ਪਾਣੀ ਕੱਢਣ ਲਈ ਬੰਨ੍ਹਦੇ ਹਨ. “ਕਰ ਹਰਿ ਹਟਮਾਲ ਟਿੰਡ ਪਰੋਵਹੁ.” (ਬਸੰ ਮਃ ੧). Footnotes:
