ਵਿਸ਼. ਦੇਖੋ- ਬਿਖੁ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਖ। 2. ਸ਼ਸਤ੍ਰਨਾਮਮਾਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਅਜਾਣ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਨੇ “ਖੈ” ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ ਬਿਖ ਲਿਖ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਹੈ, ਯਥਾ- “ਬਿਸ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਕੈ ਬਿਖ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰ ਬਖਾਨ.” (੧੦੮) ਪਰ ਸਹੀ ਪਾਠ ਹੈ- “ਬਿਸ ਕੇ ਨਾਮ ਉਚਾਰਕੈ ਖੈ ਪਦ ਬਹੁਰ ਬਖਾਨ.” ਬਿਸ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਦੇ ਅੰਤ ਖੈ (ਖੱਖਾ ਅੱਖਰ) ਲਾਉਣ ਤੋਂ ਬਿਸਖ ਸ਼ਬਦ ਬਣਦਾ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਤੀਰ (ਵਿਸ਼ਿਖ) ਦਾ ਬੋਧਕ ਹੈ. Footnotes:
