2. ਸਤਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨਿ ਲਈ ਵਿਚਹੁ ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ Raga Sireeraag 3, 54, 1:2 (P: 34).

ਨਾਮ/n. ਕਰਤਾਰ ਦਾ ਹੁਕਮ (ਭਾਵਨ). ਉਹ ਬਾਤ, ਜੋ ਵਾਹਗੁਰੂ ਨੂੰ ਭਾਈ ਹੈ. “ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨੇ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਹੋਇ। ਨਾਨਕ ਸਚਿ ਸਮਾਵੈ ਸੋਇ.” (ਆਸਾ ਮਃ ੩) “ਭਾਣਾ ਮੰਨੇ, ਸੋ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਏ.” (ਮਾਰੂ ਸੋਲਹੇ ਮਃ ੩) “ਹਉ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਟਹੁ ਵਾਰਿਆ ਖਸਮੇ ਦਾ ਭਾਵੈ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਾਣਾ.” (ਭਾਗੁ) 2. ਇੱਛਾ. ਮਰਜੀ. “ਆਪਣਾ ਭਾਣਾ ਤੁਮ ਕਰਹੁ, ਤਾ ਫਿਰਿ ਸਹੁ ਖੁਸੀ ਨ ਆਵਏ.” (ਆਸਾ ਛੰਤ ਮਃ ੩) 3. ਵਿ. ਭਾਇਆ. ਪਸੰਦ ਆਇਆ. ਪਿਆਰਾ ਲੱਗਿਆ. “ਪਰਮਦਭੁਤ ਭਾਣਾ.” (ਭਾਗੁ).
