ਅ਼. [مُقدّم] ਮੁਕ਼ੱਦਮ. ਵਿ. ਅੱਗੇ ਕ਼ਦਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਵਾਲਾ. ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧਿਆ ਹੋਇਆ. ਮੁਖੀਆ। 2. ਨਾਮ/n. ਕ਼ਦਮ ਰੱਖਣ ਦੀ ਥਾਂ। 3. ਚੌਧਰੀ. “ਮਹਰ ਮੁਕਦਮ ਸਿਕਦਾਰੈ.” (ਗਉ ਅ: ਮਃ ੧) 5. ਮੁਗਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਿੱਖਰਾਜ ਸਮੇ ਕਲੈਕਟਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਇਬ, ਜੋ ਮੁਆਮਲਾ ਉਗਰਾਹਿਆ ਕਰਦਾ (foreman). “ਰਾਜੇ ਸੀਹ, ਮੁਕਦਮ ਕੁਤੇ.” (ਮਃ ੧ ਵਾਰ ਮਲਾ). Footnotes:
