ਵਾਣਿਜ੍ਯ (ਵਪਾਰ) ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ. ਸੌਦਾਗਰ. ਵਪਾਰੀ। 2. ਭਾਵ- ਜਿਗ੍ਯਾਸੂ। 3. ਇੱਕ ਖ਼ਾਸ ਜਾਤਿ, ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਇਹ ਸੰਗ੍ਯਾ ਵਣਿਜ ਤੋਂ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ। 4. ਚੌਥੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਰਾਗ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਸ ਸਿਰਲੇਖ ਦੀ ਬਾਣੀ- “ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਉਤਮੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਹੈ.” ਆਦਿ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੀਵ ਨੂੰ ਵਣਜਾਰਾ ਵਰਣਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ. Footnotes:
