(ਵਾਦ) ਸੰ. {वाद.} ਨਾਮ/n. ਚਰਚਾ. ਬਹਸ. “ਵਾਦ ਵਖਾਣਹਿ, ਤਤੁ ਨ ਜਾਣਾ.” (ਮਾਰੂ ਸੋਲਹੇ ਮਃ ੧). “ਤਿਤੁ ਤਨਿ ਹਉਮੈ ਵਾਦੁ.” (ਸ੍ਰੀ ਅ: ਮਃ ੧). 2. ਕਿਸੇ ਦਰਸ਼ਨ (ਸ਼ਾਸਤ੍ਰ) ਦਾ ਨਿਸ਼ਚੇ ਕੀਤਾ ਸਿੱਧਾਂਤ. ਜਿਵੇਂ- ਆਰੰਭਵਾਦ ਨੈਯਾਯਿਕਾਂ ਦਾ, ਪਰਿਣਾਮ (ਅਥਵਾ- ਗੁਣ ਪਰਿਣਾਮ) ਵਾਦ ਸਾਂਖ੍ਯ ਮਤ ਵਾਲਿਆਂ ਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਵਿਵਰਤਵਾਦ ਵੇਦਾਂਤੀਆਂ ਦਾ ਹੈ. “ਕੌਨ ਵਾਦ ਕਰ ਬ੍ਰਹ੍ਮ ਸਿੱਧ ਕਿਯ?
