Sajaṇ⒰. 1. ਮਿਤਰ, ਸਨੇਹੀ; ਹਰਿ ਰੂਪ। 2. ਭਲਾ ਪੁਰਸ਼। 3. ਪਿਆਰਾ (ਪਤੀ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ)। 1. friend, acquaintance; replica of the Lord. 2. noble person/soul. 3. beloved (the Lord).
ਉਦਾਹਰਨਾ:
1. ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਸੇਵਦਾ ਗੁਰ ਕਰਣੀ ਪਰਧਾਨ ॥ (ਹਰਿ ਦਾ ਮਿਤਰ). Raga Sireeraag 1, 19, 4:2 (P: 21).
ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣੁ ਲਧਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੂ ਲਿਵੇ ॥ (ਹਰਿ ਰੂਪ). Raga Aaasaa 4, Chhant 21, 3:4 (P: 452).
2. ਕੋਈ ਐਸਾ ਸਜਣੁ ਲੋੜਿ ਲਹੁ ਮੈ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਦੇਇ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥ Raga Soohee 4, Asatpadee 2, 5:1 (P: 758).
3. ਸੁਣਿ ਸਾ ਜਨ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਸੰਦੇਸਰਾ ਅਖੀ ਤਾਰ ਲਗੰਨਿ॥ ਗੁਰਿ ਤੁਠੈ ਸਜਣੁ ਮੇਲਿਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸਵੰਨਿ ॥ (ਪਿਆਰਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ). Raga Gaurhee 4, Vaar 5, Salok, 4, 1:2 (P: 302).
ਸਜਣੁ ਮੈਡਾ ਰੰਗੁਲਾ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਏ ਮਨੁ ਲੇਇ ॥ (ਮੇਰਾ ਪਿਆਰਾ). Raga Sorath 4, Vaar 5, Salok, 3, 2:1 (P: 644).
