ਕਾਮਿ ਕਰੋਧਿ ਨ ਮੋਹੀਐ ਬਿਨਸੈ ਲੋਭੁ ਸੁਆਨੁ ॥
कामि करोधि न मोहीऐ बिनसै लोभु सुआनु ॥
Kaam karoḋʰ na mohee▫æ binsæ lobʰ su▫aan.
Sexual desire and anger shall not seduce you, and the dog of greed shall depart.

ਸਚੈ ਮਾਰਗਿ ਚਲਦਿਆ ਉਸਤਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਜਹਾਨੁ ॥
सचै मारगि चलदिआ उसतति करे जहानु ॥
Sachæ maarag chalḋi▫aa usṫaṫ karé jahaan.
Those who walk on the Path of Truth shall be praised throughout the world.

ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਸਗਲ ਪੁੰਨ ਜੀਅ ਦਇਆ ਪਰਵਾਨੁ ॥
अठसठि तीरथ सगल पुंन जीअ दइआ परवानु ॥
Atʰsatʰ ṫiraṫʰ sagal punn jee▫a ḋa▫i▫aa parvaan.
Be kind to all beings-this is more meritorious than bathing at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage and the giving of charity.

ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਦੇਵੈ ਦਇਆ ਕਰਿ ਸੋਈ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸੁਜਾਨੁ ॥
जिस नो देवै दइआ करि सोई पुरखु सुजानु ॥
Jis no ḋévæ ḋa▫i▫aa kar so▫ee purakʰ sujaan.
That person, upon whom the Lord bestows His Mercy, is a wise person.

ਜਿਨਾ ਮਿਲਿਆ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਨ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ॥
जिना मिलिआ प्रभु आपणा नानक तिन कुरबानु ॥
Jinaa mili▫aa parabʰ aapṇaa Naanak ṫin kurbaan.
Nanak is a sacrifice to those who have merged with God.

ਮਾਘਿ ਸੁਚੇ ਸੇ ਕਾਂਢੀਅਹਿ ਜਿਨ ਪੂਰਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਮਿਹਰਵਾਨੁ ॥੧੨॥
माघि सुचे से कांढीअहि जिन पूरा गुरु मिहरवानु ॥१२॥
Maagʰ suché sé kaaⁿdʰee▫ah jin pooraa gur miharvaan. ||12||
In Maagh, they alone are known as true, unto whom the Perfect Guru is Merciful. ||12||

ਫਲਗੁਣਿ ਅਨੰਦ ਉਪਾਰਜਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਜਣ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਆਇ ॥
फलगुणि अनंद उपारजना हरि सजण प्रगटे आइ ॥
Fulguṇ anand upaarjanaa har sajaṇ pargaté aa▫é.
In the month of Phalgun, bliss comes to those, unto whom the Lord, the Friend, has been revealed.

ਸੰਤ ਸਹਾਈ ਰਾਮ ਕੇ ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਦੀਆ ਮਿਲਾਇ ॥
संत सहाई राम के करि किरपा दीआ मिलाइ ॥
Sanṫ sahaa▫ee raam ké kar kirpaa ḋee▫aa milaa▫é.
The Saints, the Lord’s helpers, in their mercy, have united me with Him.

ਸੇਜ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਹੁਣਿ ਦੁਖਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ॥
सेज सुहावी सरब सुख हुणि दुखा नाही जाइ ॥
Séj suhaavee sarab sukʰ huṇ ḋukʰaa naahee jaa▫é.
My bed is beautiful, and I have all the comforts. I feel no sadness at all.

ਇਛ ਪੁਨੀ ਵਡਭਾਗਣੀ ਵਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇ ॥
इछ पुनी वडभागणी वरु पाइआ हरि राइ ॥
Ichʰ punee vadbʰaagṇee var paa▫i▫aa har raa▫é.
My desires have been fulfilled-by great good fortune, I have obtained the Sovereign Lord as my Husband.

ਮਿਲਿ ਸਹੀਆ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਵਹੀ ਗੀਤ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਅਲਾਇ ॥
मिलि सहीआ मंगलु गावही गीत गोविंद अलाइ ॥
Mil sahee▫aa mangal gaavhee geeṫ govinḋ alaa▫é.
Join with me, my sisters, and sing the songs of rejoicing and the Hymns of the Lord of the Universe.

ਹਰਿ ਜੇਹਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਦਿਸਈ ਕੋਈ ਦੂਜਾ ਲਵੈ ਨ ਲਾਇ ॥
हरि जेहा अवरु न दिसई कोई दूजा लवै न लाइ ॥
Har jéhaa avar na ḋis▫ee ko▫ee ḋoojaa lavæ na laa▫é.
There is no other like the Lord-there is no equal to Him.

ਹਲਤੁ ਪਲਤੁ ਸਵਾਰਿਓਨੁ ਨਿਹਚਲ ਦਿਤੀਅਨੁ ਜਾਇ ॥
हलतु पलतु सवारिओनु निहचल दितीअनु जाइ ॥
Halaṫ palaṫ savaari▫on nihchal ḋiṫee▫an jaa▫é.
He embellishes this world and the world hereafter, and He gives us our permanent home there.

ਸੰਸਾਰ ਸਾਗਰ ਤੇ ਰਖਿਅਨੁ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਜਨਮੈ ਧਾਇ ॥
संसार सागर ते रखिअनु बहुड़ि न जनमै धाइ ॥
Sansaar saagar ṫé rakʰi▫an bahuṛ na janmæ ḋʰaa▫é.
He rescues us from the world-ocean; never again do we have to run the cycle of reincarnation.

ਜਿਹਵਾ ਏਕ ਅਨੇਕ ਗੁਣ ਤਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਚਰਣੀ ਪਾਇ ॥
जिहवा एक अनेक गुण तरे नानक चरणी पाइ ॥
Jihvaa ék anék guṇ ṫaré Naanak charṇee paa▫é.
I have only one tongue, but Your Glorious Virtues are beyond counting. Nanak is saved, falling at Your Feet.

ਫਲਗੁਣਿ ਨਿਤ ਸਲਾਹੀਐ ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤਿਲੁ ਨ ਤਮਾਇ ॥੧੩॥
फलगुणि नित सलाहीऐ जिस नो तिलु न तमाइ ॥१३॥
Fulguṇ niṫ salaahee▫æ jis no ṫil na ṫamaa▫é. ||13||
In Phalgun, praise Him continually; He has not even an iota of greed. ||13||

ਜਿਨਿ ਜਿਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ਤਿਨ ਕੇ ਕਾਜ ਸਰੇ ॥
जिनि जिनि नामु धिआइआ तिन के काज सरे ॥
Jin jin naam ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa ṫin ké kaaj saré.
Those who meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord-their affairs are all resolved.

ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ਆਰਾਧਿਆ ਦਰਗਹ ਸਚਿ ਖਰੇ ॥
हरि गुरु पूरा आराधिआ दरगह सचि खरे ॥
Har gur pooraa aaraaḋʰi▫aa ḋargėh sach kʰaré.
Those who meditate on the Perfect Guru, the Lord-Incarnate-they are judged true in the Court of the Lord.

ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਚਰਣ ਹਰਿ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਬਿਖਮੁ ਤਰੇ ॥
सरब सुखा निधि चरण हरि भउजलु बिखमु तरे ॥
Sarab sukʰaa niḋʰ charaṇ har bʰa▫ojal bikʰam ṫaré.
The Lord’s Feet are the Treasure of all peace and comfort for them; they cross over the terrifying and treacherous world-ocean.

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਤਿਨ ਪਾਈਆ ਬਿਖਿਆ ਨਾਹਿ ਜਰੇ ॥
प्रेम भगति तिन पाईआ बिखिआ नाहि जरे ॥
Parém bʰagaṫ ṫin paa▫ee▫aa bikʰi▫aa naahi jaré.
They obtain love and devotion, and they do not burn in corruption.

ਕੂੜ ਗਏ ਦੁਬਿਧਾ ਨਸੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਚਿ ਭਰੇ ॥
कूड़ गए दुबिधा नसी पूरन सचि भरे ॥
Kooṛ ga▫é ḋubiḋʰaa nasee pooran sach bʰaré.
Falsehood has vanished, duality has been erased, and they are totally overflowing with Truth.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸੇਵਦੇ ਮਨ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਏਕੁ ਧਰੇ ॥
पारब्रहमु प्रभु सेवदे मन अंदरि एकु धरे ॥
Paarbarahm parabʰ sévḋé man anḋar ék ḋʰaré.
They serve the Supreme Lord God, and enshrine the One Lord within their minds.

ਮਾਹ ਦਿਵਸ ਮੂਰਤ ਭਲੇ ਜਿਸ ਕਉ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ॥
माह दिवस मूरत भले जिस कउ नदरि करे ॥
Maah ḋivas mooraṫ bʰalé jis ka▫o naḋar karé.
The months, the days, and the moments are auspicious, for those upon whom the Lord casts His Glance of Grace.

ਨਾਨਕੁ ਮੰਗੈ ਦਰਸ ਦਾਨੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਹੁ ਹਰੇ ॥੧੪॥੧॥
नानकु मंगै दरस दानु किरपा करहु हरे ॥१४॥१॥
Naanak mangæ ḋaras ḋaan kirpaa karahu haré. ||14||1||
Nanak begs for the blessing of Your Vision, O Lord. Please, shower Your Mercy upon me! ||14||1||

ਸੇਵੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਰਿ ਸਿਮਰੀ ਦਿਨ ਸਭਿ ਰੈਣ ॥
सेवी सतिगुरु आपणा हरि सिमरी दिन सभि रैण ॥
Sévee saṫgur aapṇaa har simree ḋin sabʰ ræṇ.
I serve my True Guru, and meditate on Him all day and night.

ਆਪੁ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਸਰਣੀ ਪਵਾਂ ਮੁਖਿ ਬੋਲੀ ਮਿਠੜੇ ਵੈਣ ॥
आपु तिआगि सरणी पवां मुखि बोली मिठड़े वैण ॥
Aap ṫi▫aag sarṇee pavaaⁿ mukʰ bolee mitʰ▫ṛé væṇ.
Renouncing selfishness and conceit, I seek His Sanctuary, and speak sweet words to Him.

ਜਨਮ ਜਨਮ ਕਾ ਵਿਛੁੜਿਆ ਹਰਿ ਮੇਲਹੁ ਸਜਣੁ ਸੈਣ ॥
जनम जनम का विछुड़िआ हरि मेलहु सजणु सैण ॥
Janam janam kaa vichʰuṛi▫aa har mélhu sajaṇ sæṇ.
Through countless lifetimes and incarnations, I was separated from Him. O Lord, you are my Friend and Companion-please unite me with Yourself.

ਜੋ ਜੀਅ ਹਰਿ ਤੇ ਵਿਛੁੜੇ ਸੇ ਸੁਖਿ ਨ ਵਸਨਿ ਭੈਣ ॥
जो जीअ हरि ते विछुड़े से सुखि न वसनि भैण ॥
Jo jee▫a har ṫé vichʰuṛé sé sukʰ na vasan bʰæṇ.
Those who are separated from the Lord do not dwell in peace, O sister.

ਹਰਿ ਪਿਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਚੈਨੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਖੋਜਿ ਡਿਠੇ ਸਭਿ ਗੈਣ ॥
हरि पिर बिनु चैनु न पाईऐ खोजि डिठे सभि गैण ॥
Har pir bin chæn na paa▫ee▫æ kʰoj ditʰé sabʰ gæṇ.
Without their Husband Lord, they find no comfort. I have searched and seen all realms.

ਆਪ ਕਮਾਣੈ ਵਿਛੁੜੀ ਦੋਸੁ ਨ ਕਾਹੂ ਦੇਣ ॥
आप कमाणै विछुड़ी दोसु न काहू देण ॥
Aap kamaaṇæ vichʰuṛee ḋos na kaahoo ḋéṇ.
My own evil actions have kept me separate from Him; why should I accuse anyone else?

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਹੋਰੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਰਣ ਕਰੇਣ ॥
करि किरपा प्रभ राखि लेहु होरु नाही करण करेण ॥
Kar kirpaa parabʰ raakʰ lého hor naahee karaṇ karéṇ.
Bestow Your Mercy, God, and save me! No one else can bestow Your Mercy.

ਹਰਿ ਤੁਧੁ ਵਿਣੁ ਖਾਕੂ ਰੂਲਣਾ ਕਹੀਐ ਕਿਥੈ ਵੈਣ ॥
हरि तुधु विणु खाकू रूलणा कहीऐ किथै वैण ॥
Har ṫuḋʰ viṇ kʰaakoo roolṇaa kahee▫æ kiṫʰæ væṇ.
Without You, Lord, we roll around in the dust. Unto whom should we utter our cries of distress?

ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਬੇਨੰਤੀਆ ਹਰਿ ਸੁਰਜਨੁ ਦੇਖਾ ਨੈਣ ॥੧॥
नानक की बेनंतीआ हरि सुरजनु देखा नैण ॥१॥
Naanak kee bananṫee▫aa har surjan ḋékʰaa næṇ. ||1||
This is Nanak’s prayer: “May my eyes behold the Lord, the Angelic Being.” ||1||
|
ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਬਿਰਥਾ ਸੋ ਸੁਣੇ ਹਰਿ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਿਥ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਅਪਾਰੁ ॥
जीअ की बिरथा सो सुणे हरि संम्रिथ पुरखु अपारु ॥
Jee▫a kee birṫʰaa so suṇé har sammriṫʰ purakʰ apaar.
The Lord hears the anguish of the soul; He is the All-powerful and Infinite Primal Being.

ਮਰਣਿ ਜੀਵਣਿ ਆਰਾਧਣਾ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਾ ਆਧਾਰੁ ॥
मरणि जीवणि आराधणा सभना का आधारु ॥
Maraṇ jeevaṇ aaraaḋʰaṇaa sabʰnaa kaa aaḋʰaar.
In death and in life, worship and adore the Lord, the Support of all.
