ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਤੁਮਰੇ ਰੰਗਾ ਗੁਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ਸੁਖਦਾਤੇ ॥
बरनि न साकउ तुमरे रंगा गुण निधान सुखदाते ॥
Baran na saaka▫o ṫumré rangaa guṇ niḋʰaan sukʰ▫ḋaaṫé.
I cannot describe Your Manifestations, O Treasure of Excellence, O Giver of peace.

ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਪੂਰੇ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਜਾਤੇ ॥੨॥
अगम अगोचर प्रभ अबिनासी पूरे गुर ते जाते ॥२॥
Agam agochar parabʰ abʰinaasee pooré gur ṫé jaaṫé. ||2||
God is Inaccessible, Incomprehensible and Imperishable; He is known through the Perfect Guru. ||2||

ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਭਉ ਕਾਟਿ ਕੀਏ ਨਿਹਕੇਵਲ ਜਬ ਤੇ ਹਉਮੈ ਮਾਰੀ ॥
भ्रमु भउ काटि कीए निहकेवल जब ते हउमै मारी ॥
Bʰaram bʰa▫o kaat kee▫é nihkéval jab ṫé ha▫umæ maaree.
My doubt and fear have been taken away, and I have been made pure, since my ego was conquered.

ਜਨਮ ਮਰਣ ਕੋ ਚੂਕੋ ਸਹਸਾ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਦਰਸਾਰੀ ॥੩॥
जनम मरण को चूको सहसा साधसंगति दरसारी ॥३॥
Janam maraṇ ko chooko sahsaa saaḋʰsangaṫ ḋarsaaree. ||3||
My fear of birth and death has been abolished, beholding Your Blessed Vision in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||3||

ਚਰਣ ਪਖਾਰਿ ਕਰਉ ਗੁਰ ਸੇਵਾ ਬਾਰਿ ਜਾਉ ਲਖ ਬਰੀਆ ॥
चरण पखारि करउ गुर सेवा बारि जाउ लख बरीआ ॥
Charaṇ pakʰaar kara▫o gur sévaa baar jaa▫o lakʰ baree▫aa.
I wash the Guru’s Feet and serve Him; I am a sacrifice to Him, 100,000 times.

ਜਿਹ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਇਹੁ ਭਉਜਲੁ ਤਰਿਆ ਜਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਿਅ ਸੰਗਿ ਮਿਰੀਆ ॥੪॥੭॥੧੨੮॥
जिह प्रसादि इहु भउजलु तरिआ जन नानक प्रिअ संगि मिरीआ ॥४॥७॥१२८॥
Jih parsaaḋ ih bʰa▫ojal ṫari▫aa jan Naanak pari▫a sang miree▫aa. ||4||7||128||
By His Grace, servant Nanak has crossed over this terrifying world-ocean; I am united with my Beloved. ||4||7||128||

ਤੁਝ ਬਿਨੁ ਕਵਨੁ ਰੀਝਾਵੈ ਤੋਹੀ ॥
तुझ बिनु कवनु रीझावै तोही ॥
Ṫujʰ bin kavan reejʰaavæ ṫohee.
Who can please You, except You Yourself?

ਤੇਰੋ ਰੂਪੁ ਸਗਲ ਦੇਖਿ ਮੋਹੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
तेरो रूपु सगल देखि मोही ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Ṫéro roop sagal ḋékʰ mohee. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Gazing upon Your Beauteous Form, all are entranced. ||1||Pause||

ਸੁਰਗ ਪਇਆਲ ਮਿਰਤ ਭੂਅ ਮੰਡਲ ਸਰਬ ਸਮਾਨੋ ਏਕੈ ਓਹੀ ॥
सुरग पइआल मिरत भूअ मंडल सरब समानो एकै ओही ॥
Surag pa▫i▫aal miraṫ bʰoo▫a mandal sarab samaano ékæ ohee.
In the heavenly paradise, in the nether regions of the underworld, on the planet earth and throughout the galaxies, the One Lord is pervading everywhere.

ਸਿਵ ਸਿਵ ਕਰਤ ਸਗਲ ਕਰ ਜੋਰਹਿ ਸਰਬ ਮਇਆ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਤੇਰੀ ਦੋਹੀ ॥੧॥
सिव सिव करत सगल कर जोरहि सरब मइआ ठाकुर तेरी दोही ॥१॥
Siv siv karaṫ sagal kar jorėh sarab ma▫i▫aa tʰaakur ṫéree ḋohee. ||1||
Everyone calls upon You with their palms pressed together, saying, “Shiva, Shiva”. O Merciful Lord and Master, everyone cries out for Your Help. ||1||

ਪਤਿਤ ਪਾਵਨ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੁਮਰਾ ਸੁਖਦਾਈ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਸੀਤਲੋਹੀ ॥
पतित पावन ठाकुर नामु तुमरा सुखदाई निरमल सीतलोही ॥
Paṫiṫ paavan tʰaakur naam ṫumraa sukʰ▫ḋaa▫ee nirmal seeṫlohee.
Your Name, O Lord and Master, is the Purifier of sinners, the Giver of peace, immaculate, cooling and soothing.

ਗਿਆਨ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਸੰਤ ਤੇਰੇ ਸਿਉ ਗਾਲ ਗਲੋਹੀ ॥੨॥੮॥੧੨੯॥
गिआन धिआन नानक वडिआई संत तेरे सिउ गाल गलोही ॥२॥८॥१२९॥
Gi▫aan ḋʰi▫aan Naanak vadi▫aa▫ee sanṫ ṫéré si▫o gaal galohee. ||2||8||129||
O Nanak! Spiritual wisdom, meditation and glorious greatness come from dialogue and discourse with Your Saints. ||2||8||129||

ਮਿਲਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਜੀਆ ॥
मिलहु पिआरे जीआ ॥
Milhu pi▫aaré jee▫aa.
Meet with me, O my Dear Beloved.

ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕੀਆ ਤੁਮਾਰਾ ਥੀਆ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
प्रभ कीआ तुमारा थीआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Parabʰ kee▫aa ṫumaaraa ṫʰee▫aa. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
O God, whatever You do - that alone happens. ||1||Pause||

ਅਨਿਕ ਜਨਮ ਬਹੁ ਜੋਨੀ ਭ੍ਰਮਿਆ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਬਹੁਰਿ ਦੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥
अनिक जनम बहु जोनी भ्रमिआ बहुरि बहुरि दुखु पाइआ ॥
Anik janam baho jonee bʰarmi▫aa bahur bahur ḋukʰ paa▫i▫aa.
Wandering around through countless incarnations, I endured pain and suffering in so many lives, over and over again.

ਤੁਮਰੀ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾ ਤੇ ਮਾਨੁਖ ਦੇਹ ਪਾਈ ਹੈ ਦੇਹੁ ਦਰਸੁ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
तुमरी क्रिपा ते मानुख देह पाई है देहु दरसु हरि राइआ ॥१॥
Ṫumree kirpaa ṫé maanukʰ ḋéh paa▫ee hæ ḋéh ḋaras har raa▫i▫aa. ||1||
By Your Grace, I obtained this human body; grant me the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, O Sovereign Lord King. ||1||
|
ਸੋਈ ਹੋਆ ਜੋ ਤਿਸੁ ਭਾਣਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਨ ਕਿਨ ਹੀ ਕੀਤਾ ॥
सोई होआ जो तिसु भाणा अवरु न किन ही कीता ॥
So▫ee ho▫aa jo ṫis bʰaaṇaa avar na kin hee keeṫaa.
That which pleases His Will has come to pass; no one else can do anything.

ਤੁਮਰੈ ਭਾਣੈ ਭਰਮਿ ਮੋਹਿ ਮੋਹਿਆ ਜਾਗਤੁ ਨਾਹੀ ਸੂਤਾ ॥੨॥
तुमरै भाणै भरमि मोहि मोहिआ जागतु नाही सूता ॥२॥
Ṫumræ bʰaaṇæ bʰaram mohi mohi▫aa jaagaṫ naahee sooṫaa. ||2||
By Your Will, enticed by the illusion of emotional attachment, the people are asleep; they do not wake up. ||2||
|
ਬਿਨਉ ਸੁਨਹੁ ਤੁਮ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤਿ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
बिनउ सुनहु तुम प्रानपति पिआरे किरपा निधि दइआला ॥
Bin▫o sunhu ṫum paraanpaṫ pi▫aaré kirpaa niḋʰ ḋa▫i▫aalaa.
Please hear my prayer, O Lord of Life, O Beloved, Ocean of mercy and compassion.

ਰਾਖਿ ਲੇਹੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਮੇਰੇ ਅਨਾਥਹ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥੩॥
राखि लेहु पिता प्रभ मेरे अनाथह करि प्रतिपाला ॥३॥
Raakʰ lého piṫaa parabʰ méré anaaṫʰah kar parṫipaalaa. ||3||
Save me, O my Father God. I am an orphan - please, cherish me! ||3||
|
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਤੁਮਹਿ ਦਿਖਾਇਓ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੈ ਪਾਛੈ ॥
जिस नो तुमहि दिखाइओ दरसनु साधसंगति कै पाछै ॥
Jis no ṫumėh ḋikʰaa▫i▫o ḋarsan saaḋʰsangaṫ kæ paachʰæ.
You reveal the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, for the sake of the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਧੂਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਸੰਤਨ ਕੀ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਇਹੁ ਬਾਛੈ ॥੪॥੯॥੧੩੦॥
करि किरपा धूरि देहु संतन की सुखु नानकु इहु बाछै ॥४॥९॥१३०॥
Kar kirpaa ḋʰoor ḋéh sanṫan kee sukʰ Naanak ih baachʰæ. ||4||9||130||
Grant Your Grace, and bless us with the dust of the feet of the Saints; Nanak yearns for this peace. ||4||9||130||

जा कै केवल नामु अधारी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Jaa kæ kéval naam aḋʰaaree. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
who take the Support of the Naam. ||1||Pause||

ਮਹਿਮਾ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕੇਤਕ ਗਨੀਐ ਜਨ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮ ਰੰਗਿ ਰਾਤੇ ॥
महिमा ता की केतक गनीऐ जन पारब्रहम रंगि राते ॥
Mahimaa ṫaa kee kéṫak ganee▫æ jan paarbarahm rang raaṫé.
How can I recount the praises of those humble beings who are attuned to the Love of the Supreme Lord God?

ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਆਨੰਦ ਤਿਨਾ ਸੰਗਿ ਉਨ ਸਮਸਰਿ ਅਵਰ ਨ ਦਾਤੇ ॥੧॥
सूख सहज आनंद तिना संगि उन समसरि अवर न दाते ॥१॥
Sookʰ sahj aananḋ ṫinaa sang un samsar avar na ḋaaṫé. ||1||
Peace, intuitive poise and bliss are with them. There are no other givers equal to them. ||1||
|
ਜਗਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਸੇਈ ਆਏ ਜੋ ਜਨ ਦਰਸ ਪਿਆਸਾ ॥
जगत उधारण सेई आए जो जन दरस पिआसा ॥
Jagaṫ uḋʰaaraṇ sé▫ee aa▫é jo jan ḋaras pi▫aasaa.
They have come to save the world - those humble beings who thirst for His Blessed Vision.

ਉਨ ਕੀ ਸਰਣਿ ਪਰੈ ਸੋ ਤਰਿਆ ਸੰਤਸੰਗਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਆਸਾ ॥੨॥
उन की सरणि परै सो तरिआ संतसंगि पूरन आसा ॥२॥
Un kee saraṇ paræ so ṫari▫aa saṫsang pooran aasaa. ||2||
Those who seek their Sanctuary are carried across; in the Society of the Saints, their hopes are fulfilled. ||2||
|
ਤਾ ਕੈ ਚਰਣਿ ਪਰਉ ਤਾ ਜੀਵਾ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਨਿਹਾਲਾ ॥
ता कै चरणि परउ ता जीवा जन कै संगि निहाला ॥
Ṫaa kæ charaṇ para▫o ṫaa jeevaa jan kæ sang nihaalaa.
If I fall at their Feet, then I live; associating with those humble beings, I remain happy.

ਭਗਤਨ ਕੀ ਰੇਣੁ ਹੋਇ ਮਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਹੋਹੁ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥੩॥
भगतन की रेणु होइ मनु मेरा होहु प्रभू किरपाला ॥३॥
Bʰagṫan kee réṇ ho▫é man méraa hohu parabʰoo kirpaalaa. ||3||
O God, please be merciful to me, that my mind might become the dust of the feet of Your devotees. ||3||
|
ਰਾਜੁ ਜੋਬਨੁ ਅਵਧ ਜੋ ਦੀਸੈ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਘਾਟਿਆ ॥
राजु जोबनु अवध जो दीसै सभु किछु जुग महि घाटिआ ॥
Raaj joban avaḋʰ jo ḋeesæ sabʰ kichʰ jug mėh gʰaati▫aa.
Power and authority, youth and age - whatever is seen in this world, all of it shall fade away.

ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਸਦ ਨਵਤਨੁ ਨਿਰਮਲੁ ਇਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਧਨੁ ਖਾਟਿਆ ॥੪॥੧੦॥੧੩੧॥
नामु निधानु सद नवतनु निरमलु इहु नानक हरि धनु खाटिआ ॥४॥१०॥१३१॥
Naam niḋʰaan saḋ navṫan nirmal ih Naanak har ḋʰan kʰaati▫aa. ||4||10||131||
The treasure of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, is forever new and immaculate. Nanak has earned this wealth of the Lord. ||4||10||131||
