ਕਿਛੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਨ ਚਾਹੀ ॥੨॥
किछु किछु न चाही ॥२॥
Kichʰ kichʰ na chaahee. ||2||
I have no desire for these. ||2||

ਚਰਨਨ ਸਰਨਨ ਸੰਤਨ ਬੰਦਨ ॥
चरनन सरनन संतन बंदन ॥
Charnan sarnan sanṫan banḋan.
The Sanctuary of the Lord’s Feet, and dedication to the Saints -
|
ਸੁਖੋ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਹੀ ॥
सुखो सुखु पाही ॥
Sukʰo sukʰ paahee.
these bring me peace and pleasure.

ਨਾਨਕ ਤਪਤਿ ਹਰੀ ॥
नानक तपति हरी ॥
Naanak ṫapaṫ haree.
O Nanak! My burning fire has been put out,

ਮਿਲੇ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਪਿਰੀ ॥੩॥੩॥੧੪੩॥
मिले प्रेम पिरी ॥३॥३॥१४३॥
Milé parém piree. ||3||3||143||

गुरहि दिखाइओ लोइना ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Gurėh ḋikʰaa▫i▫o lo▫inaa. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
The Guru has revealed Him to my eyes. ||1||Pause||

ਈਤਹਿ ਊਤਹਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਤੂੰਹੀ ਤੂੰਹੀ ਮੋਹਿਨਾ ॥੧॥
ईतहि ऊतहि घटि घटि घटि घटि तूंही तूंही मोहिना ॥१॥
Eeṫėh ooṫėh gʰat gʰat gʰat gʰat ṫooⁿhee ṫooⁿhee mohinaa. ||1||
Here and there, in each and every heart, and each and every being, You, O Fascinating Lord, You exist. ||1||

ਕਾਰਨ ਕਰਨਾ ਧਾਰਨ ਧਰਨਾ ਏਕੈ ਏਕੈ ਸੋਹਿਨਾ ॥੨॥
कारन करना धारन धरना एकै एकै सोहिना ॥२॥
Kaaran karnaa ḋʰaaran ḋʰarnaa ékæ ékæ sohinaa. ||2||
You are the Creator, the Cause of all causes, the Support of the earth; You are the One and only, Beauteous Lord. ||2||

ਸੰਤਨ ਪਰਸਨ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਦਰਸਨ ਨਾਨਕ ਸੁਖਿ ਸੁਖਿ ਸੋਇਨਾ ॥੩॥੪॥੧੪੪॥
संतन परसन बलिहारी दरसन नानक सुखि सुखि सोइना ॥३॥४॥१४४॥
Sanṫan parsan balihaaree ḋarsan Naanak sukʰ sukʰ so▫inaa. ||3||4||144||
Meeting the Saints, and beholding the Blessed Vision of their Darshan, Nanak is a sacrifice to them; he sleeps in absolute peace. ||3||4||144||

ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਮੋਲਾ ॥
हरि हरि नामु अमोला ॥
Har har naam amolaa.
The Name of the Lord, Har, Har, is priceless.

ਓਹੁ ਸਹਜਿ ਸੁਹੇਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ओहु सहजि सुहेला ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Oh sahj suhélaa. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
It brings peace and poise. ||1||Pause||

ਸੰਗਿ ਸਹਾਈ ਛੋਡਿ ਨ ਜਾਈ ਓਹੁ ਅਗਹ ਅਤੋਲਾ ॥੧॥
संगि सहाई छोडि न जाई ओहु अगह अतोला ॥१॥
Sang sahaa▫ee chʰod na jaa▫ee oh agah aṫolaa. ||1||
The Lord is my Companion and Helper; He shall not forsake me or leave me. He is unfathomable and unequaled. ||1||

ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮੁ ਭਾਈ ਬਾਪੁ ਮੋਰੋ ਮਾਈ ਭਗਤਨ ਕਾ ਓਲੑਾ ॥੨॥
प्रीतमु भाई बापु मोरो माई भगतन का ओल्हा ॥२॥
Pareeṫam bʰaa▫ee baap moro maa▫ee bʰagṫan kaa olĥaa. ||2||
He is my Beloved, my brother, father and mother; He is the Support of His devotees. ||2||

ਅਲਖੁ ਲਖਾਇਆ ਗੁਰ ਤੇ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਾਨਕ ਇਹੁ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਚੋਲੑਾ ॥੩॥੫॥੧੪੫॥
अलखु लखाइआ गुर ते पाइआ नानक इहु हरि का चोल्हा ॥३॥५॥१४५॥
Alakʰ lakʰaa▫i▫aa gur ṫé paa▫i▫aa Naanak ih har kaa cholĥaa. ||3||5||145||
The Invisible Lord is seen through the Guru; O Nanak! This is the wondrous play of the Lord. ||3||5||145||

Please help me sustain my devotion.

ਠਾਕੁਰ ਆਇਓ ਆਹਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
ठाकुर आइओ आहि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Tʰaakur aa▫i▫o aahi. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
O Lord Master, I have come to You. ||1||Pause||

ਨਾਮੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਹੋਇ ਸਕਾਰਥੁ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਚਰਨ ਬਸਾਹਿ ॥੧॥
नामु पदारथु होइ सकारथु हिरदै चरन बसाहि ॥१॥
Naam paḋaaraṫʰ ho▫é sakaaraṫʰ hirḋæ charan basaahi. ||1||
With the wealth of the Naam, the Name of the Lord, life becomes fruitful. Lord, please place Your Feet within my heart. ||1||
|
ਏਹ ਮੁਕਤਾ ਏਹ ਜੁਗਤਾ ਰਾਖਹੁ ਸੰਤ ਸੰਗਾਹਿ ॥੨॥
एह मुकता एह जुगता राखहु संत संगाहि ॥२॥
Éh mukṫaa éh jugṫaa raakʰo sanṫ sangaahi. ||2||
This is liberation, and this is the best way of life; please, keep me in the Society of the Saints. ||2||
|
ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਉ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਨ ਗਾਹਿ ॥੩॥੬॥੧੪੬॥
नामु धिआवउ सहजि समावउ नानक हरि गुन गाहि ॥३॥६॥१४६॥
Naam ḋʰi▫aava▫o sahj samaava▫o Naanak har gun gaahi. ||3||6||146||
Meditating on the Naam, I am absorbed in celestial peace; O Nanak! I sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord. ||3||6||146||

The Feet of my Lord and Master are so Beautiful!

ਹਰਿ ਸੰਤਨ ਪਾਵੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
हरि संतन पावे ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har sanṫan paavé. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
The Lord’s Saints obtain them. ||1||Pause||
|
ਆਪੁ ਗਵਾਇਆ ਸੇਵ ਕਮਾਇਆ ਗੁਨ ਰਸਿ ਰਸਿ ਗਾਵੇ ॥੧॥
आपु गवाइआ सेव कमाइआ गुन रसि रसि गावे ॥१॥
Aap gavaa▫i▫aa sév kamaa▫i▫aa gun ras ras gaavé. ||1||
They eradicate their self-conceit and serve the Lord; drenched in His Love, they sing His Glorious Praises. ||1||
|
ਏਕਹਿ ਆਸਾ ਦਰਸ ਪਿਆਸਾ ਆਨ ਨ ਭਾਵੇ ॥੨॥
एकहि आसा दरस पिआसा आन न भावे ॥२॥
Ékėh aasaa ḋaras pi▫aasaa aan na bʰaavé. ||2||
They place their hopes in Him, and they thirst for the Blessed Vision of His Darshan. Nothing else is pleasing to them. ||2||
|
ਦਇਆ ਤੁਹਾਰੀ ਕਿਆ ਜੰਤ ਵਿਚਾਰੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਵੇ ॥੩॥੭॥੧੪੭॥
दइआ तुहारी किआ जंत विचारी नानक बलि बलि जावे ॥३॥७॥१४७॥
Ḋa▫i▫aa ṫuhaaree ki▫aa janṫ vichaaree Naanak bal bal jaavé. ||3||7||147||
This is Your Mercy, Lord; what can Your poor creatures do? Nanak is devoted, a sacrifice to You. ||3||7||147||

Remember the One Lord in meditation within your mind. ||1||Pause||

ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵਹੁ ਰਿਦੈ ਬਸਾਵਹੁ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਕੋ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੧॥
नामु धिआवहु रिदै बसावहु तिसु बिनु को नाही ॥१॥
Naam ḋʰi▫aavahu riḋæ basaavhu ṫis bin ko naahee. ||1||
Meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, and enshrine Him within your heart. Without Him there is no other. ||1||
|
ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਨੀ ਆਈਐ ਸਰਬ ਫਲ ਪਾਈਐ ਸਗਲੇ ਦੁਖ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੨॥
प्रभ सरनी आईऐ सरब फल पाईऐ सगले दुख जाही ॥२॥
Parabʰ sarnee aa▫ee▫æ sarab fal paa▫ee▫æ saglé ḋukʰ jaahee. ||2||
Entering God’s Sanctuary, all rewards are obtained, and all pains are taken away. ||2||
|
ਜੀਅਨ ਕੋ ਦਾਤਾ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ਨਾਨਕ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਆਹੀ ॥੩॥੮॥੧੪੮॥
जीअन को दाता पुरखु बिधाता नानक घटि घटि आही ॥३॥८॥१४८॥
Jee▫an ko ḋaaṫaa purakʰ biḋʰaaṫaa Naanak gʰat gʰat aahee. ||3||8||148||
He is the Giver of all beings, the Architect of Destiny; O Nanak! He is contained in each and every heart. ||3||8||148||

हरि बिसरत सो मूआ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Har bisraṫ so moo▫aa. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
One who forgets the Lord is dead. ||1||Pause||
|
ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਵੈ ਸਰਬ ਫਲ ਪਾਵੈ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਸੁਖੀਆ ਹੂਆ ॥੧॥
नामु धिआवै सरब फल पावै सो जनु सुखीआ हूआ ॥१॥
Naam ḋʰi▫aavæ sarab fal paavæ so jan sukʰee▫aa hoo▫aa. ||1||
One who meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, obtains all rewards. That person becomes happy. ||1||
|
ਰਾਜੁ ਕਹਾਵੈ ਹਉ ਕਰਮ ਕਮਾਵੈ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਨਲਿਨੀ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਸੂਆ ॥੨॥
राजु कहावै हउ करम कमावै बाधिओ नलिनी भ्रमि सूआ ॥२॥
Raaj kahaavæ ha▫o karam kamaavæ baaḋʰi▫o nalinee bʰaram soo▫aa. ||2||
One who calls himself a king, and acts in ego and pride, is caught by his doubts, like a parrot in a trap. ||2||
|
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਭੇਟਿਆ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਨਿਹਚਲੁ ਥੀਆ ॥੩॥੯॥੧੪੯॥
कहु नानक जिसु सतिगुरु भेटिआ सो जनु निहचलु थीआ ॥३॥९॥१४९॥
Kaho Naanak jis saṫgur bʰéti▫aa so jan nihchal ṫʰee▫aa. ||3||9||149||
Says Nanak, one who meets the True Guru, becomes permanent and immortal. ||3||9||149||

One Universal Creator God. By The Grace Of The True Guru:

ਓਹੁ ਨੇਹੁ ਨਵੇਲਾ ॥
ओहु नेहु नवेला ॥
Oh néhu navélaa.
That love is forever fresh and new,
|
ਅਪੁਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸਿਉ ਲਾਗਿ ਰਹੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
अपुने प्रीतम सिउ लागि रहै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Apuné pareeṫam si▫o laag rahæ. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
which is for the Beloved Lord. ||1||Pause||

ਜੋ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਭਾਵੈ ਜਨਮਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ॥
जो प्रभ भावै जनमि न आवै ॥
Jo parabʰ bʰaavæ janam na aavæ.
One who is pleasing to God shall not be reincarnated again.

ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਭਗਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਰਚੈ ॥੧॥
हरि प्रेम भगति हरि प्रीति रचै ॥१॥
Har parém bʰagaṫ har pareeṫ rachæ. ||1||
He remains absorbed in the loving devotional worship of the Lord, in the Love of the Lord. ||1||
|
