ਕਰਹੁ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਤੇ ਕਬਹੁ ਨ ਡਾਰਉ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
करहु अनुग्रहु सुआमी मेरे मन ते कबहु न डारउ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Karahu anoograhu su▫aamee méré man ṫé kabahu na daara▫o. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
Be Merciful to me, O my Lord and Master, that I might never forsake them from my mind. ||1||Pause||

ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰਿ ਲਾਈ ਮੁਖਿ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਕਾਮ ਕ੍ਰੋਧ ਬਿਖੁ ਜਾਰਉ ॥
साधू धूरि लाई मुखि मसतकि काम क्रोध बिखु जारउ ॥
Saaḋʰoo ḋʰoor laa▫ee mukʰ masṫak kaam kroḋʰ bikʰ jaara▫o.
Applying the dust of the feet of the Holy to my face and forehead, I burn away the poison of sexual desire and anger.

ਸਭ ਤੇ ਨੀਚੁ ਆਤਮ ਕਰਿ ਮਾਨਉ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਇਹੁ ਸੁਖੁ ਧਾਰਉ ॥੧॥
सभ ते नीचु आतम करि मानउ मन महि इहु सुखु धारउ ॥१॥
Sabʰ ṫé neech aaṫam kar maan▫o man mėh ih sukʰ ḋʰaara▫o. ||1||
I judge myself to be the lowest of all; in this way, I instill peace within my mind. ||1||

ਗੁਨ ਗਾਵਹ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਕਲਮਲ ਸਗਲੇ ਝਾਰਉ ॥
गुन गावह ठाकुर अबिनासी कलमल सगले झारउ ॥
Gun gaavah tʰaakur abʰinaasee kalmal saglé jʰaara▫o.
I sing the Glorious Praises of the Imperishable Lord and Master, and I shake off all my sins.

ਨਾਮ ਨਿਧਾਨੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਨੁ ਪਾਵਉ ਕੰਠਿ ਲਾਇ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰਉ ॥੨॥੧੯॥
नाम निधानु नानक दानु पावउ कंठि लाइ उरि धारउ ॥२॥१९॥
Naam niḋʰaan Naanak ḋaan paava▫o kantʰ laa▫é ur ḋʰaara▫o. ||2||19||
I have found the gift of the treasure of the Naam, O Nanak; I hug it close, and enshrine it in my heart. ||2||19||

प्रभ जीउ पेखउ दरसु तुमारा ॥
Parabʰ jee▫o pékʰa▫o ḋaras ṫumaaraa.
Dear God, I long to behold the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan.

ਸੁੰਦਰ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਧਾਰੁ ਦਿਨੁ ਰੈਨੀ ਜੀਅ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਤੇ ਪਿਆਰਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
सुंदर धिआनु धारु दिनु रैनी जीअ प्रान ते पिआरा ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Sunḋar ḋʰi▫aan ḋʰaar ḋin rænee jee▫a paraan ṫé pi▫aaraa. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
I cherish this beautiful meditation day and night; You are dearer to me than my soul, dearer than life itself. ||1||Pause||

ਸਾਸਤ੍ਰ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਨ ਅਵਿਲੋਕੇ ਸਿਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰਾ ॥
सासत्र बेद पुरान अविलोके सिम्रिति ततु बीचारा ॥
Saasṫar béḋ puraan aviloké simriṫ ṫaṫ beechaaraa.
I have studied and contemplated the essence of the Shastras, the Vedas and the Puranas.

ਦੀਨਾ ਨਾਥ ਪ੍ਰਾਨਪਤਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਭਵਜਲ ਉਧਰਨਹਾਰਾ ॥੧॥
दीना नाथ प्रानपति पूरन भवजल उधरनहारा ॥१॥
Ḋeenaa naaṫʰ paraanpaṫ pooran bʰavjal uḋʰranhaaraa. ||1||
Protector of the meek, Lord of the breath of life, O Perfect One, carry us across the terrifying world-ocean! ||1||

ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਭਗਤ ਜਨ ਸੇਵਕ ਤਾ ਕੀ ਬਿਖੈ ਅਧਾਰਾ ॥
आदि जुगादि भगत जन सेवक ता की बिखै अधारा ॥
Aaḋ jugaaḋ bʰagaṫ jan sévak ṫaa kee bikʰæ aḋʰaaraa.
Since the very beginning, and throughout the ages, the humble devotees have been Your servants; in the midst of the world of corruption, You are their Support.

ਤਿਨ ਜਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਬਾਛੈ ਨਿਤ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਦੇਵਨਹਾਰਾ ॥੨॥੨੦॥
तिन जन की धूरि बाछै नित नानकु परमेसरु देवनहारा ॥२॥२०॥
Ṫin jan kee ḋʰoor baachʰæ niṫ Naanak parmésar ḋévanhaaraa. ||2||20||
Nanak longs for the dust of the feet of such humble beings; the Transcendent Lord is the Giver of all. ||2||20||

ਤੇਰਾ ਜਨੁ ਰਾਮ ਰਸਾਇਣਿ ਮਾਤਾ ॥
तेरा जनु राम रसाइणि माता ॥
Ṫéraa jan raam rasaa▫iṇ maaṫaa.
Your humble servant, O Lord, is intoxicated with Your sublime essence.

ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਰਸਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਉਪਜੀ ਛੋਡਿ ਨ ਕਤਹੂ ਜਾਤਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
प्रेम रसा निधि जा कउ उपजी छोडि न कतहू जाता ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Parém rasaa niḋʰ jaa ka▫o upjee chʰod na kaṫhoo jaaṫaa. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
One who obtains the treasure of the Nectar of Your Love, does not renounce it to go somewhere else. ||1||Pause||

ਬੈਠਤ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਸੋਵਤ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਰਸੁ ਭੋਜਨੁ ਖਾਤਾ ॥
बैठत हरि हरि सोवत हरि हरि हरि रसु भोजनु खाता ॥
Bætʰaṫ har har sovaṫ har har har ras bʰojan kʰaaṫaa.
While sitting, he repeats the Lord’s Name, Har, Har; while sleeping, he repeats the Lord’s Name, Har, Har; he eats the Nectar of the Lord’s Name as his food.

ਅਠਸਠਿ ਤੀਰਥ ਮਜਨੁ ਕੀਨੋ ਸਾਧੂ ਧੂਰੀ ਨਾਤਾ ॥੧॥
अठसठि तीरथ मजनु कीनो साधू धूरी नाता ॥१॥
Atʰsatʰ ṫiraṫʰ majan keeno saaḋʰoo ḋʰooree naaṫaa. ||1||
Bathing in the dust of the feet of the Holy is equal to taking cleansing baths at the sixty-eight sacred shrines of pilgrimage. ||1||
|
ਸਫਲੁ ਜਨਮੁ ਹਰਿ ਜਨ ਕਾ ਉਪਜਿਆ ਜਿਨਿ ਕੀਨੋ ਸਉਤੁ ਬਿਧਾਤਾ ॥
सफलु जनमु हरि जन का उपजिआ जिनि कीनो सउतु बिधाता ॥
Safal janam har jan kaa upji▫aa jin keeno sa▫uṫ biḋʰaaṫaa.
How fruitful is the birth of the Lord’s humble servant; the Creator is his Father.

ਸਗਲ ਸਮੂਹ ਲੈ ਉਧਰੇ ਨਾਨਕ ਪੂਰਨ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਪਛਾਤਾ ॥੨॥੨੧॥
सगल समूह लै उधरे नानक पूरन ब्रहमु पछाता ॥२॥२१॥
Sagal samooh læ uḋʰré Naanak pooran barahm pachʰaaṫaa. ||2||21||
O Nanak! One who recognizes the Perfect Lord God, takes all with him, and saves everyone. ||2||21||

ਮਾਈ ਗੁਰ ਬਿਨੁ ਗਿਆਨੁ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ॥
माई गुर बिनु गिआनु न पाईऐ ॥
Maa▫ee gur bin gi▫aan na paa▫ee▫æ.
O mother, without the Guru, spiritual wisdom is not obtained.

ਅਨਿਕ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰ ਫਿਰਤ ਬਿਲਲਾਤੇ ਮਿਲਤ ਨਹੀ ਗੋਸਾਈਐ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
अनिक प्रकार फिरत बिललाते मिलत नही गोसाईऐ ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥
Anik parkaar firaṫ billaaṫé milaṫ nahee gosaa▫ee▫æ. ||1|| rahaa▫o.
They wander around, weeping and crying out in various ways, but the Lord of the World does not meet them. ||1||Pause||
|
ਮੋਹ ਰੋਗ ਸੋਗ ਤਨੁ ਬਾਧਿਓ ਬਹੁ ਜੋਨੀ ਭਰਮਾਈਐ ॥
मोह रोग सोग तनु बाधिओ बहु जोनी भरमाईऐ ॥
Moh rog sog ṫan baaḋʰi▫o baho jonee bʰarmaa▫ee▫æ.
The body is tied up with emotional attachment, disease and sorrow, and so it is lured into countless reincarnations.

ਟਿਕਨੁ ਨ ਪਾਵੈ ਬਿਨੁ ਸਤਸੰਗਤਿ ਕਿਸੁ ਆਗੈ ਜਾਇ ਰੂਆਈਐ ॥੧॥
टिकनु न पावै बिनु सतसंगति किसु आगै जाइ रूआईऐ ॥१॥
Tikan na paavæ bin saṫsangaṫ kis aagæ jaa▫é roo▫aa▫ee▫æ. ||1||
He finds no place of rest without the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; to whom should he go and cry? ||1||
|
ਕਰੈ ਅਨੁਗ੍ਰਹੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰਾ ਸਾਧ ਚਰਨ ਚਿਤੁ ਲਾਈਐ ॥
करै अनुग्रहु सुआमी मेरा साध चरन चितु लाईऐ ॥
Karæ anoograhu su▫aamee méraa saaḋʰ charan chiṫ laa▫ee▫æ.
When my Lord and Master shows His Mercy, we lovingly focus our consciousness on the feet of the Holy.

ਸੰਕਟ ਘੋਰ ਕਟੇ ਖਿਨ ਭੀਤਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਿ ਸਮਾਈਐ ॥੨॥੨੨॥
संकट घोर कटे खिन भीतरि नानक हरि दरसि समाईऐ ॥२॥२२॥
Sankat gʰor katé kʰin bʰeeṫar Naanak har ḋaras samaa▫ee▫æ. ||2||22||
The most horrible agonies are dispelled in an instant, O Nanak! And we merge in the Blessed Vision of the Lord. ||2||22||

Tʰaakur ho▫é aap ḋa▫i▫aal.
The Lord and Master Himself has become Merciful.

ਭਈ ਕਲਿਆਣ ਅਨੰਦ ਰੂਪ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਉਬਰੇ ਬਾਲ ਗੁਪਾਲ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
भई कलिआण अनंद रूप होई है उबरे बाल गुपाल ॥ रहाउ ॥
Bʰa▫ee kali▫aaṇ anand roop ho▫ee hæ ubré baal gupaal. Rahaa▫o.
I have been emancipated, and I have become the embodiment of bliss; I am the Lord’s child - He has saved me. ||Pause||

ਦੁਇ ਕਰ ਜੋੜਿ ਕਰੀ ਬੇਨੰਤੀ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਮਨਿ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥
दुइ कर जोड़ि करी बेनंती पारब्रहमु मनि धिआइआ ॥
Ḋu▫é kar joṛ karee bénanṫee paarbarahm man ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa.
With my palms pressed together, I offer my prayer; within my mind, I meditate on the Supreme Lord God.

ਹਾਥੁ ਦੇਇ ਰਾਖੇ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰਿ ਸਗਲਾ ਦੁਰਤੁ ਮਿਟਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
हाथु देइ राखे परमेसुरि सगला दुरतु मिटाइआ ॥१॥
Haaṫʰ ḋé▫é raakʰé parmésur saglaa ḋuraṫ mitaa▫i▫aa. ||1||
Giving me His hand, the Transcendent Lord has eradicated all my sins. ||1||
|
ਵਰ ਨਾਰੀ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੰਗਲੁ ਗਾਇਆ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਕਾ ਜੈਕਾਰੁ ॥
वर नारी मिलि मंगलु गाइआ ठाकुर का जैकारु ॥
var naaree mil mangal gaa▫i▫aa tʰaakur kaa jækaar.
Husband and wife join together in rejoicing, celebrating the Victory of the Lord Master.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਨ ਕਉ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਈਐ ਜੋ ਸਭਨਾ ਕਰੇ ਉਧਾਰੁ ॥੨॥੨੩॥
कहु नानक जन कउ बलि जाईऐ जो सभना करे उधारु ॥२॥२३॥
Kaho Naanak jan ka▫o bal jaa▫ee▫æ jo sabʰnaa karé uḋʰaar. ||2||23||
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to the humble servant of the Lord, who emancipates everyone. ||2||23||
