पेखि दरसनु नानक बिगसे आपि लए मिलाए ॥४॥५॥८॥
Pékʰ ḋarsan Naanak bigsé aap la▫é milaa▫é. ||4||5||8||
Beholding the Blessed Vision of His Darshan, Nanak has blossomed forth; the Lord has united him in Union. ||4||5||8||

ਅਬਿਚਲ ਨਗਰੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਗੁਰੂ ਕਾ ਨਾਮੁ ਜਪਤ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
अबिचल नगरु गोबिंद गुरू का नामु जपत सुखु पाइआ राम ॥
Abichal nagar gobinḋ guroo kaa naam japaṫ sukʰ paa▫i▫aa raam.
Eternal and immovable is the City of God and Guru; chanting His Name, I have found peace.

ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਸੇਈ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ਕਰਤੈ ਆਪਿ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
मन इछे सेई फल पाए करतै आपि वसाइआ राम ॥
Man ichʰé sé▫ee fal paa▫é karṫæ aap vasaa▫i▫aa raam.
I have obtained the fruits of my mind’s desires; the Creator Himself established it.

ਕਰਤੈ ਆਪਿ ਵਸਾਇਆ ਸਰਬ ਸੁਖ ਪਾਇਆ ਪੁਤ ਭਾਈ ਸਿਖ ਬਿਗਾਸੇ ॥
करतै आपि वसाइआ सरब सुख पाइआ पुत भाई सिख बिगासे ॥
Karṫæ aap vasaa▫i▫aa sarab sukʰ paa▫i▫aa puṫ bʰaa▫ee sikʰ bigaasé.
The Creator Himself established it. I have found total peace; my children, siblings and Sikhs have all blossomed forth in bliss.

ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵਹਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਕਾਰਜੁ ਆਇਆ ਰਾਸੇ ॥
गुण गावहि पूरन परमेसुर कारजु आइआ रासे ॥
Guṇ gaavahi pooran parmésur kaaraj aa▫i▫aa raasé.
Singing the Glorious Praises of the Perfect Transcendent Lord, my affairs have come to be resolved.

ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਆਪਿ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਆਪੇ ਰਖਾ ਆਪਿ ਪਿਤਾ ਆਪਿ ਮਾਇਆ ॥
प्रभु आपि सुआमी आपे रखा आपि पिता आपि माइआ ॥
Parabʰ aap su▫aamee aapé rakʰaa aap piṫaa aap maa▫i▫aa.
God Himself is my Lord and Master. He Himself is my Saving Grace; He Himself is my father and mother.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਏਹੁ ਥਾਨੁ ਸੁਹਾਇਆ ॥੧॥
कहु नानक सतिगुर बलिहारी जिनि एहु थानु सुहाइआ ॥१॥
Kaho Naanak saṫgur balihaaree jin éhu ṫʰaan suhaa▫i▫aa. ||1||
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to the True Guru, who has embellished and adorned this place. ||1||

ਘਰ ਮੰਦਰ ਹਟਨਾਲੇ ਸੋਹੇ ਜਿਸੁ ਵਿਚਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਨਿਵਾਸੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
घर मंदर हटनाले सोहे जिसु विचि नामु निवासी राम ॥
Gʰar manḋar hatnaalé sohé jis vich naam nivaasee raam.
Homes, mansions, stores and markets are beautiful, when the Lord’s Name abides within.

ਸੰਤ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਰਾਧਹਿ ਕਟੀਐ ਜਮ ਕੀ ਫਾਸੀ ਰਾਮ ॥
संत भगत हरि नामु अराधहि कटीऐ जम की फासी राम ॥
Sanṫ bʰagaṫ har naam araaḋʰėh katee▫æ jam kee faasee raam.
The Saints and devotees worship the Lord’s Name in adoration, and the noose of Death is cut away.

ਕਾਟੀ ਜਮ ਫਾਸੀ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਏ ॥
काटी जम फासी प्रभि अबिनासी हरि हरि नामु धिआए ॥
Kaatee jam faasee parabʰ abʰinaasee har har naam ḋʰi▫aa▫é.
The noose of Death is cut away, meditating on the Name of the Eternal, Unchanging Lord, Har, Har.

ਸਗਲ ਸਮਗ੍ਰੀ ਪੂਰਨ ਹੋਈ ਮਨ ਇਛੇ ਫਲ ਪਾਏ ॥
सगल समग्री पूरन होई मन इछे फल पाए ॥
Sagal samagree pooran ho▫ee man ichʰé fal paa▫é.
Everything is perfect for them, and they obtain the fruits of their mind’s desires.

ਸੰਤ ਸਜਨ ਸੁਖਿ ਮਾਣਹਿ ਰਲੀਆ ਦੂਖ ਦਰਦ ਭ੍ਰਮ ਨਾਸੀ ॥
संत सजन सुखि माणहि रलीआ दूख दरद भ्रम नासी ॥
Sanṫ sajan sukʰ maaṇėh ralee▫aa ḋookʰ ḋaraḋ bʰaram naasee.
The Saints and friends enjoy peace and pleasure; their pain, suffering and doubts are dispelled.

ਸਬਦਿ ਸਵਾਰੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਦ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਸੀ ॥੨॥
सबदि सवारे सतिगुरि पूरै नानक सद बलि जासी ॥२॥
Sabaḋ savaaré saṫgur pooræ Naanak saḋ bal jaasee. ||2||
The Perfect True Guru has embellished them with the Word of the Shabad; Nanak is forever a sacrifice to them. ||2||

ਦਾਤਿ ਖਸਮ ਕੀ ਪੂਰੀ ਹੋਈ ਨਿਤ ਨਿਤ ਚੜੈ ਸਵਾਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
दाति खसम की पूरी होई नित नित चड़ै सवाई राम ॥
Ḋaaṫ kʰasam kee pooree ho▫ee niṫ niṫ chaṛæ savaa▫ee raam.
The gift of our Lord and Master is perfect; it increases day by day.

ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮਿ ਖਸਮਾਨਾ ਕੀਆ ਜਿਸ ਦੀ ਵਡੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
पारब्रहमि खसमाना कीआ जिस दी वडी वडिआई राम ॥
Paarbarahm kʰasmaanaa kee▫aa jis ḋee vadee vadi▫aa▫ee raam.
The Supreme Lord God has made me His own; His Glorious Greatness is so great!

ਆਦਿ ਜੁਗਾਦਿ ਭਗਤਨ ਕਾ ਰਾਖਾ ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਭਇਆ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥
आदि जुगादि भगतन का राखा सो प्रभु भइआ दइआला ॥
Aaḋ jugaaḋ bʰagṫan kaa raakʰaa so parabʰ bʰa▫i▫aa ḋa▫i▫aalaa.
From the very beginning, and throughout the ages, He is the Protector of His devotees; God has become merciful to me.

ਜੀਅ ਜੰਤ ਸਭਿ ਸੁਖੀ ਵਸਾਏ ਪ੍ਰਭਿ ਆਪੇ ਕਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਤਿਪਾਲਾ ॥
जीअ जंत सभि सुखी वसाए प्रभि आपे करि प्रतिपाला ॥
Jee▫a janṫ sabʰ sukʰee vasaa▫é parabʰ aapé kar parṫipaalaa.
All beings and creatures now dwell in peace; God Himself cherishes and cares for them.

ਦਹ ਦਿਸ ਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਜਸੁ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹਣੁ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥
दह दिस पूरि रहिआ जसु सुआमी कीमति कहणु न जाई ॥
Ḋah ḋis poor rahi▫aa jas su▫aamee keemaṫ kahaṇ na jaa▫ee.
The Praises of the Lord and Master are totally pervading in the ten directions; I cannot express His worth.

ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀ ਜਿਨਿ ਅਬਿਚਲ ਨੀਵ ਰਖਾਈ ॥੩॥
कहु नानक सतिगुर बलिहारी जिनि अबिचल नीव रखाई ॥३॥
Kaho Naanak saṫgur balihaaree jin abichal neev rakʰaa▫ee. ||3||
Says Nanak, I am a sacrifice to the True Guru, who has laid this eternal foundation. ||3||

ਗਿਆਨ ਧਿਆਨ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸੁਰ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਕਥਾ ਨਿਤ ਸੁਣੀਐ ਰਾਮ ॥
गिआन धिआन पूरन परमेसुर हरि हरि कथा नित सुणीऐ राम ॥
Gi▫aan ḋʰi▫aan pooran parmésur har har kaṫʰaa niṫ suṇee▫æ raam.
The spiritual wisdom and meditation of the Perfect Transcendent Lord, and the Sermon of the Lord, Har, Har, are continually heard there.

ਅਨਹਦ ਚੋਜ ਭਗਤ ਭਵ ਭੰਜਨ ਅਨਹਦ ਵਾਜੇ ਧੁਨੀਐ ਰਾਮ ॥
अनहद चोज भगत भव भंजन अनहद वाजे धुनीऐ राम ॥
Anhaḋ choj bʰagaṫ bʰav bʰanjan anhaḋ vaajé ḋʰunee▫æ raam.
The devotees of the Lord, the Destroyer of fear, play endlessly there, and the unstruck melody resounds and vibrates there.

ਅਨਹਦ ਝੁਣਕਾਰੇ ਤਤੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ਸੰਤ ਗੋਸਟਿ ਨਿਤ ਹੋਵੈ ॥
अनहद झुणकारे ततु बीचारे संत गोसटि नित होवै ॥
Anhaḋ jʰuṇkaaré ṫaṫ beechaaré sanṫ gosat niṫ hovæ.
The unstruck melody resounds and resonates, and the Saints contemplate the essence of reality; this discourse is their daily routine.

ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਅਰਾਧਹਿ ਮੈਲੁ ਸਭ ਕਾਟਹਿ ਕਿਲਵਿਖ ਸਗਲੇ ਖੋਵੈ ॥
हरि नामु अराधहि मैलु सभ काटहि किलविख सगले खोवै ॥
Har naam araaḋʰėh mæl sabʰ kaatėh kilvikʰ saglé kʰovæ.
They worship the Lord’s Name, and all their filth is washed away; they rid themselves of all sins.

ਤਹ ਜਨਮ ਨ ਮਰਣਾ ਆਵਣ ਜਾਣਾ ਬਹੁੜਿ ਨ ਪਾਈਐ ਜੋੁਨੀਐ ॥
तह जनम न मरणा आवण जाणा बहुड़ि न पाईऐ जुोनीऐ ॥
Ṫah janam na marṇaa aavaṇ jaaṇaa bahuṛ na paa▫ee▫æ jonee▫æ.
There is no birth or death there, no coming or going, and no entering into the womb of reincarnation again.

ਨਾਨਕ ਗੁਰੁ ਪਰਮੇਸਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਜਿਸੁ ਪ੍ਰਸਾਦਿ ਇਛ ਪੁਨੀਐ ॥੪॥੬॥੯॥
नानक गुरु परमेसरु पाइआ जिसु प्रसादि इछ पुनीऐ ॥४॥६॥९॥
Naanak gur parmésar paa▫i▫aa jis parsaaḋ ichʰ punee▫æ. ||4||6||9||
Nanak has found the Guru, the Transcendent Lord; by His Grace, desires are fulfilled. ||4||6||9||

ਸੰਤਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਰਜਿ ਆਪਿ ਖਲੋਇਆ ਹਰਿ ਕੰਮੁ ਕਰਾਵਣਿ ਆਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
संता के कारजि आपि खलोइआ हरि कंमु करावणि आइआ राम ॥
Sanṫaa ké kaaraj aap kʰalo▫i▫aa har kamm karaavaṇ aa▫i▫aa raam.
The Lord Himself has stood up to resolve the affairs of the Saints; He has come to complete their tasks.

ਧਰਤਿ ਸੁਹਾਵੀ ਤਾਲੁ ਸੁਹਾਵਾ ਵਿਚਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਲੁ ਛਾਇਆ ਰਾਮ ॥
धरति सुहावी तालु सुहावा विचि अमृत जलु छाइआ राम ॥
Ḋʰaraṫ suhaavee ṫaal suhaavaa vich amriṫ jal chʰaa▫i▫aa raam.
The land is beautiful, and the pool is beautiful; within it is contained the Ambrosial Water.

ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਜਲੁ ਛਾਇਆ ਪੂਰਨ ਸਾਜੁ ਕਰਾਇਆ ਸਗਲ ਮਨੋਰਥ ਪੂਰੇ ॥
अमृत जलु छाइआ पूरन साजु कराइआ सगल मनोरथ पूरे ॥
Amriṫ jal chʰaa▫i▫aa pooran saaj karaa▫i▫aa sagal manoraṫʰ pooré.
The Ambrosial Water is filling it, and my job is perfectly complete; all my desires are fulfilled.

ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਭਇਆ ਜਗ ਅੰਤਰਿ ਲਾਥੇ ਸਗਲ ਵਿਸੂਰੇ ॥
जै जै कारु भइआ जग अंतरि लाथे सगल विसूरे ॥
Jæ jæ kaar bʰa▫i▫aa jag anṫar laaṫʰé sagal visooré.
Congratulations are pouring in from all over the world; all my sorrows are eliminated.

ਪੂਰਨ ਪੁਰਖ ਅਚੁਤ ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਜਸੁ ਵੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਣੀ ਗਾਇਆ ॥
पूरन पुरख अचुत अबिनासी जसु वेद पुराणी गाइआ ॥
Pooran purakʰ achuṫ abʰinaasee jas véḋ puraaṇee gaa▫i▫aa.
The Vedas and the Puranas sing the Praises of the Perfect, Unchanging, Imperishable Primal Lord.

ਅਪਨਾ ਬਿਰਦੁ ਰਖਿਆ ਪਰਮੇਸਰਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮੁ ਧਿਆਇਆ ॥੧॥
अपना बिरदु रखिआ परमेसरि नानक नामु धिआइआ ॥१॥
Apnaa biraḋ rakʰi▫aa parmésar Naanak naam ḋʰi▫aa▫i▫aa. ||1||
The Transcendent Lord has kept His promise, and confirmed His nature; Nanak meditates on the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||
|
ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਦੀਨੇ ਕਰਤੇ ਤੋਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਕਾਈ ਰਾਮ ॥
नव निधि सिधि रिधि दीने करते तोटि न आवै काई राम ॥
Nav niḋʰ siḋʰ riḋʰ ḋeené karṫé ṫot na aavæ kaa▫ee raam.
The Creator has given me the nine treasures, wealth and spiritual powers, and I do not lack anything.
