ਤਾਰੵਉ ਸੰਸਾਰੁ ਮਾਯਾ ਮਦ ਮੋਹਿਤ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤ ਨਾਮੁ ਦੀਅਉ ਸਮਰਥੁ ॥

Ṫaar▫ya▫o sansaar maa▫yaa maḋ mohiṫ amriṫ naam ḋee▫a▫o samraṫʰ.

The Universe is intoxicated with the wine of Maya, but it has been saved; the All-powerful Guru has blessed it with the Ambrosial Nectar of the Naam.

ਫੁਨਿ ਕੀਰਤਿਵੰਤ ਸਦਾ ਸੁਖ ਸੰਪਤਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਅਰੁ ਸਿਧਿ ਨ ਛੋਡਇ ਸਥੁ ॥

Fun keerṫivanṫ saḋaa sukʰ sampaṫ riḋʰ ar siḋʰ na chʰod▫é saṫʰ.

And, the Praiseworthy Guru is blessed with eternal peace, wealth and prosperity; the supernatural spiritual powers of the Siddhis never leave him.

ਦਾਨਿ ਬਡੌ ਅਤਿਵੰਤੁ ਮਹਾਬਲਿ ਸੇਵਕਿ ਦਾਸਿ ਕਹਿਓ ਇਹੁ ਤਥੁ ॥

Ḋaan badou aṫivanṫ mahaabal sévak ḋaas kahi▫o ih ṫaṫʰ.

His Gifts are vast and great; His awesome Power is supreme. Your humble servant and slave speaks this truth.

ਤਾਹਿ ਕਹਾ ਪਰਵਾਹ ਕਾਹੂ ਕੀ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਬਸੀਸਿ ਧਰਿਓ ਗੁਰਿ ਹਥੁ ॥੭॥੪੯॥

Ṫaahi kahaa parvaah kaahoo kee jaa kæ basees ḋʰari▫o gur haṫʰ. ||7||49||

One, upon whose head the Guru has placed His Hand - with whom should he be concerned? ||7||49||

ਤੀਨਿ ਭਵਨ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਸੋਈ ॥

Ṫeen bʰavan bʰarpoor rahi▫o so▫ee.

He is totally pervading and permeating the three realms;

ਅਪਨ ਸਰਸੁ ਕੀਅਉ ਨ ਜਗਤ ਕੋਈ ॥

Apan saras kee▫a▫o na jagaṫ ko▫ee.

in all the world, He has not created another like Himself.

ਆਪੁਨ ਆਪੁ ਆਪ ਹੀ ਉਪਾਯਉ ॥

Aapun aap aap hee upaa▫ya▫o.

He Himself created Himself.

ਸੁਰਿ ਨਰ ਅਸੁਰ ਅੰਤੁ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਯਉ ॥

Sur nar asur anṫ nahee paa▫ya▫o.

The angels, human beings and demons have not found His limits.

ਪਾਯਉ ਨਹੀ ਅੰਤੁ ਸੁਰੇ ਅਸੁਰਹ ਨਰ ਗਣ ਗੰਧ੍ਰਬ ਖੋਜੰਤ ਫਿਰੇ ॥

Paa▫ya▫o nahee anṫ suré asurėh nar gaṇ ganḋʰarab kʰojanṫ firé.

The angels, demons and human beings have not found His limits; the heavenly heralds and celestial singers wander around, searching for Him.

ਅਬਿਨਾਸੀ ਅਚਲੁ ਅਜੋਨੀ ਸੰਭਉ ਪੁਰਖੋਤਮੁ ਅਪਾਰ ਪਰੇ ॥

Abʰinaasee achal ajonee sambʰa▫o purkʰoṫam apaar paré.

The Eternal, Imperishable, Unmoving and Unchanging, Unborn, Self-Existent, Primal Being of the Soul, the Infinity of the Infinite,

ਕਰਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਸਮਰਥੁ ਸਦਾ ਸੋਈ ਸਰਬ ਜੀਅ ਮਨਿ ਧੵਾਇਯਉ ॥

Karaṇ kaaraṇ samraṫʰ saḋaa so▫ee sarab jee▫a man ḋʰéaa▫i▫ya▫o.

the Eternal All-powerful Cause of all causes - all beings meditate on Him in their minds.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜਯੋ ਜਯ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਯਉ ॥੧॥

Saree gur Raamḋaas ja▫yo ja▫y jag mėh ṫæ har param paḋ paa▫i▫ya▫o. ||1||

O Great and Supreme Guru Ram Das, Your Victory resounds across the universe. You have attained the supreme-status of the Lord. ||1||

ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਨਾਨਕਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੀ ਇਕ ਮਨਿ ਤਨੁ ਮਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਦੀਅਉ ॥

Saṫgur Naanak bʰagaṫ karee ik man ṫan man ḋʰan gobinḋ ḋee▫a▫o.

Nanak, the True Guru, worships God single-mindedly; He surrenders His body, mind and wealth to the Lord of the Universe.

ਅੰਗਦਿ ਅਨੰਤ ਮੂਰਤਿ ਨਿਜ ਧਾਰੀ ਅਗਮ ਗੵਾਨਿ ਰਸਿ ਰਸੵਉ ਹੀਅਉ ॥

Angaḋ ananṫ mooraṫ nij ḋʰaaree agam ga▫yaan ras ras▫ya▫o hee▫a▫o.

The Infinite Lord enshrined His Own Image in Guru Angad. In His heart, He delights in the spiritual wisdom of the Unfathomable Lord.

ਗੁਰਿ ਅਮਰਦਾਸਿ ਕਰਤਾਰੁ ਕੀਅਉ ਵਸਿ ਵਾਹੁ ਵਾਹੁ ਕਰਿ ਧੵਾਇਯਉ ॥

Gur Amarḋaas karṫaar kee▫a▫o vas vaahu vaahu kar ḋʰéaa▫i▫ya▫o.

Guru Amar Das brought the Creator Lord under His control. ‘Waaho! Waaho!’ Meditate on Him!

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜਯੋ ਜਯ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਯਉ ॥੨॥

Saree gur Raamḋaas ja▫yo ja▫y jag mėh ṫæ har param paḋ paa▫i▫ya▫o. ||2||

O Great and Supreme Guru Ram Das, Your Victory resounds across the universe. You have attained the supreme-status of the Lord. ||2||

ਨਾਰਦੁ ਧ੍ਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਹਲਾਦੁ ਸੁਦਾਮਾ ਪੁਬ ਭਗਤ ਹਰਿ ਕੇ ਜੁ ਗਣੰ ॥

Naaraḋ ḋʰaroo parahlaaḋ suḋaamaa pub bʰagaṫ har ké jo gaṇaⁿ.

Naarad, Dhroo, Prahlaad and Sudama are counted among the Lord’s devotees of the past.

ਅੰਬਰੀਕੁ ਜਯਦੇਵ ਤ੍ਰਿਲੋਚਨੁ ਨਾਮਾ ਅਵਰੁ ਕਬੀਰੁ ਭਣੰ ॥

Ambreek ja▫yḋév Ṫrilochan naamaa avar Kabeer bʰaṇaⁿ.

Ambreek, Jai Dayv, Trilochan, Namdev and Kabir are also remembered.

ਤਿਨ ਕੌ ਅਵਤਾਰੁ ਭਯਉ ਕਲਿ ਭਿੰਤਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਜਗਤ੍ਰ ਪਰਿ ਛਾਇਯਉ ॥

Ṫin kou avṫaar bʰa▫ya▫o kal bʰinṫar jas jagṫar par chʰaa▫i▫ya▫o.

They were incarnated in this Dark Age of Kali Yuga; their praises have spread over all the world.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜਯੋ ਜਯ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਯਉ ॥੩॥

Saree gur Raamḋaas ja▫yo ja▫y jag mėh ṫæ har param paḋ paa▫i▫ya▫o. ||3||

O Great and Supreme Guru Ram Das, Your Victory resounds across the universe. You have attained the supreme-status of the Lord. ||3||

ਮਨਸਾ ਕਰਿ ਸਿਮਰੰਤ ਤੁਝੈ ਨਰ ਕਾਮੁ ਕ੍ਰੋਧੁ ਮਿਟਿਅਉ ਜੁ ਤਿਣੰ ॥

Mansaa kar simranṫ ṫujʰæ nar kaam kroḋʰ miti▫a▫o jo ṫiṇaⁿ.

Those who meditate in remembrance of You within their minds - their sexual desire and anger are taken away.

ਬਾਚਾ ਕਰਿ ਸਿਮਰੰਤ ਤੁਝੈ ਤਿਨੑ ਦੁਖੁ ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰੁ ਮਿਟਯਉ ਜੁ ਖਿਣੰ ॥

Baachaa kar simranṫ ṫujʰæ ṫinĥ ḋukʰ ḋariḋar miti▫ya▫o jo kʰiṇaⁿ.

Those who remember You in meditation with their words, are rid of their poverty and pain in an instant.

ਕਰਮ ਕਰਿ ਤੁਅ ਦਰਸ ਪਰਸ ਪਾਰਸ ਸਰ ਬਲੵ ਭਟ ਜਸੁ ਗਾਇਯਉ ॥

Karam kar ṫu▫a ḋaras paras paaras sar bal▫y bʰat jas gaa▫i▫ya▫o.

Those who obtain the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan, by the karma of their good deeds, touch the Philosopher’s Stone, and like BALL the poet, sing Your Praises.

ਸ੍ਰੀ ਗੁਰ ਰਾਮਦਾਸ ਜਯੋ ਜਯ ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਤੈ ਹਰਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਯਉ ॥੪॥

Saree gur Raamḋaas ja▫yo ja▫y jag mėh ṫæ har param paḋ paa▫i▫ya▫o. ||4||

O Great and Supreme Guru Ram Das, Your Victory resounds across the universe. You have attained the supreme-status of the Lord. ||4||

ਜਿਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਿਮਰੰਤ ਨਯਨ ਕੇ ਤਿਮਰ ਮਿਟਹਿ ਖਿਨੁ ॥

Jih saṫgur simranṫ na▫yan ké ṫimar mitėh kʰin.

Those who meditate in remembrance of the True Guru - the darkness of their eyes is removed in an instant.

ਜਿਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਿਮਰੰਥਿ ਰਿਦੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਦਿਨੋ ਦਿਨੁ ॥

Jih saṫgur simranṫʰ riḋæ har naam ḋino ḋin.

Those who meditate in remembrance of the True Guru within their hearts, are blessed with the Lord’s Name, day by day.

ਜਿਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਿਮਰੰਥਿ ਜੀਅ ਕੀ ਤਪਤਿ ਮਿਟਾਵੈ ॥

Jih saṫgur simranṫʰ jee▫a kee ṫapaṫ mitaavæ.

Those who meditate in remembrance of the True Guru within their souls - the fire of desire is extinguished for them.

ਜਿਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਿਮਰੰਥਿ ਰਿਧਿ ਸਿਧਿ ਨਵ ਨਿਧਿ ਪਾਵੈ ॥

Jih saṫgur simranṫʰ riḋʰ siḋʰ nav niḋʰ paavæ.

Those who meditate in remembrance of the True Guru, are blessed with wealth and prosperity, supernatural spiritual powers and the nine treasures.

ਸੋਈ ਰਾਮਦਾਸੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਬਲੵ ਭਣਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਧੰਨਿ ਕਰਹੁ ॥

So▫ee Raamḋaas gur bal▫y bʰaṇ mil sangaṫ ḋʰan ḋʰan karahu.

So speaks BALL the poet: Blessed is Guru Ram Das; joining the Sangat, the Congregation, call Him blessed and great.

ਜਿਹ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਲਗਿ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਪਾਈਐ ਸੋ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸਿਮਰਹੁ ਨਰਹੁ ॥੫॥੫੪॥

Jih saṫgur lag parabʰ paa▫ee▫æ so saṫgur simrahu marahu. ||5||54||

Meditate on the True Guru, O men, through Whom the Lord is obtained. ||5||54||

ਜਿਨਿ ਸਬਦੁ ਕਮਾਇ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਪਾਇਓ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਤ ਨ ਛੋਡਿਓ ਪਾਸੁ ॥

Jin sabaḋ kamaa▫é param paḋ paa▫i▫o sévaa karaṫ na chʰodi▫o paas.

Living the Word of the Shabad, He attained the supreme-status; while performing selfless service, He did not leave the side of Guru Amar Das.

ਤਾ ਤੇ ਗਉਹਰੁ ਗੵਾਨ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੁ ਉਜੀਆਰਉ ਦੁਖ ਦਰਿਦ੍ਰ ਅੰਧੵਾਰ ਕੋ ਨਾਸੁ ॥

Ṫaa ṫé ga▫uhar ga▫yaan pargat ujee▫aara▫o ḋukʰ ḋariḋar anḋʰ▫yaar ko naas.

From that service, the light from the jewel of spiritual wisdom shines forth, radiant and bright; it has destroyed pain, poverty and darkness.
